Donna Lyon Rhose says concerning this poem:

'Windwalker is a poem I wrote several years ago because of a Lucid Dream, or what I personally would call an Astral Walk.

In that especial experience I looked up to see many colored ribbons in the sky coming down to Earth. A Healer spirit next to me informed me that those colored ribbons represented the help souls were giving from the other side to the physical for various illnesses and problems. That when-ever I saw ribbons used to represent efforts in the physical to combat illness or problems, that it was also a concern in the OtherWorld and there was help from that side.

It has been of great interest to me that since that experience, the concept of displaying ribbons, whether real or symbolic, for various efforts to cure or help, of various colors for various reason, has gained real usage… and I remember that Healer spirit… and know we have been promised and receiving that promise for every ribbon I see displayed.'

Words of poem below:

Windwalker

Walk the wind –
Over the wistful, drifting waters of Time,
Like a misted haze over a bended, twisting river
Forever flowing
From Eternity to
Eternity.

The shackled, bolted doorway between the World
Is a fiction created by our mental barriers.

Walk the wind –
Walk within the rainbow’s rays –
Each bright, pulsating color’s the birth
Of some ancient magick from The Age of Wonder and Awe.

Grasp the rays like ribbons from the skies
To light the way as you walk
Between the Worlds.

Walk the wind –
Make the Mother whole again,
Let the Father smile.
Give a rainbow to the Children of the Earth.

It will remove the barriers of our minds –
It will heal the anger of our souls.

Walk,
Walk the wind.
