Stacy In this Podcast is the first part of an Interview with Stacy Pennebaker who has recently written and published a children’s book entitled ‘Kody and Grandpa’s Adventure into the Amazon’. This book is available through lulu.com at cherokeewolfgirl’s storefront.

Stacy lives in a small cabin in the woods outside Cartersville, GA. She lives with her three wonderful children and her parents. She is 29 years old and has been writing short stories and poems for 16 years. Kody and Grandpa’s Adventure into the Amazon is her first book and she hopes to write many more.

The delightful artwork for the book is by Deborah Poulin and due to the fact that Deborah is in need of a liver transplant, 75% of the proceeds for this book are going to help her with that.book

There will also be a Garage Sale for Deborah going on as well on May 30 through June 1st, 2008 where Stacy will be present to do a book signing. Should you be interested in attending the Sale or wish to contact Stacy concerning the book or even helping for Deborah, she is available by email at cherokeewolfgirl@hotmail.com.

In this podcast Stacy explains what motivated her to write the book, that it was due to her son’s imagination (whose name is Kody) and her desire to keep these stories for her children’s children. So that Kody might see these books when he grows older and that his children might do so. She hopes to encourage him and her other children to write their own books in the future and may even co-author a book with Kody before long. Stacy speaks of what she wishes to get across with this book and how and why she came to write it.

For more information, Stacy's book can be seen at http://stores.lulu.com/CherokeeWolfGirl or she may be contacted via email at cherokeewolfgirl@hotmail.com
